And I thank goodness every day for my fire and water friends.Mandi Lockleyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08583430448640478127noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3900735541171202483.post-34701469935818045982011-01-24T22:52:36.693+00:002011-01-24T22:52:36.693+00:00Excellent article, Mandi! Sometimes I get frustrated by their inertness, and no doubt they get frustrated by my impractical, rash approach to things, but on the whole, we couldn't get along without one another.
Donna CunninghamDonna Cunninghamhttp://skywriter.wordpress.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3900735541171202483.post-84138761078525342822010-08-14T10:25:41.795+01:002010-08-14T10:25:41.795+01:00Hi Alison, thanks for your comment.

How interesting!

The majority of my friends and co-workers have a lot of fire and air, similar to my own chart. However, all of my long-term boyfriends have been earth sun signs, or had a lot of earth somewhere in their charts. I always thought this was funny because the only earth I have in my chart is Neptune in Capricorn.Alisonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07258372374730769846noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3900735541171202483.post-5795233768968051532010-08-05T17:23:02.817+01:002010-08-05T17:23:02.817+01:00Thanks Fabienne for your comment. By the way, I've really been enjoying all your latest articles on creativity on your http://astrologyunboxed.com/ blog.

Hi Linnea, thanks for you comment. It sounds as if you and your husband compliment each other nicely. My hubby has lots of fire which helps me with my lack of fire, but interestingly he has very little water, even less than me. Maybe our 'job' as a couple is to learn together to feel and express emotion.

Thanks for the comment in Mandarin and apologies I can't read it, but I will ask a friend to translate...

Hi empoweredhealer, thanks for reading and I hope you have fun comparing charts.

Mandi :DMandi Lockleyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08583430448640478127noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3900735541171202483.post-76027549513179801792010-08-04T08:15:30.521+01:002010-08-04T08:15:30.521+01:00Thanks for yet another really interesting article,...Thanks for yet another really interesting article, Mandi - I'm looking forward to checking out our charts this evening :o)Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3900735541171202483.post-3510546144345964462010-08-03T18:16:32.289+01:002010-08-03T18:16:32.289+01:00Interesting article.

We're matched in Earth and he has one more planet in water than I, but I have a grand trine in water which seems to make it more intense (I'm very emotional and empathic and that's what I give the credit/blame to). My chart, despite the sun, is more fire-heavy than his. Interestingly, I, like your friend, have no air, and my husband's only air is his Ascendant. Where our "balancing act" shows up is in modalities: a majority of my chart is Fixed (most of that fire is in Leo), and he has an even number of planets in Cardinal and Mutable.LMAhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09160163335941092292noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3900735541171202483.post-45048991343891134722010-08-03T16:50:32.505+01:002010-08-03T16:50:32.505+01:00Mandi:

The elements is something that non astrologers grasp very quickly and can immediately apply to their own situation. I noticed it helps to better combine their own element mix to improve their interaction and communication. Recently, I facilitated an experiential astrology workshop on relationships that relied on the elements to explain attraction and the different phases of a romantic relationship. After doing a couple of meditation and visualization exercises on the elements, the participants started a discussion on how they could use this knowledge to improve the interaction with their partner. It was amazing.
Thanks for this article. It's a great starting point for synastry work.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
